Panimache Primero (phase II)

For a number of years, the community of Panimache Primero has identified the need for additional classrooms due to an increase in the student population. The community has tried to solicit help from various organizations, but they have been unsuccessful. Before the construction of the bottle classrooms, the community had three classrooms for its Middle School students, which was insufficient and students had to take their lessons in the community room, which does not meet conditions or standards for an educational space. With the addition of the bottle classrooms, the students will have their own space and more students will be inspired to attend school – this will contribute to reducing the number of young people that are migrating and/or living in poverty. Hug It Forward is honored to work with this community and help them achieve their dreams of having a healthier learning space.
