Cerritos Asuncion

The school in the community of Cerritos Asuncion was founded in 1966 and at the time, they had 20 students. Now, the community has approximately 370 students enrolled, divided among pre-school, kindergarten and elementary. The infrastructure was inadequate, with only 11 classrooms, forcing students to learn in the kitchen, storage room and in the hall. The three bottle classrooms are creating a more effective learning environment for the students.
