At Hug It Forward, we are always looking for passionate and creative people to support our projects.
If interested, we offer two ways to volunteer:
- Fill out our volunteer interest form and tell us a bit about yourself and why you would be a good fit for our organization. Please take the time to fully fill out the form.
- Come down on a voluntourism trip and work along side community members in one of our projects in Guatemala. See below for details.
Please note that we do not usually accept volunteers to come to Guatemala for an extended period of time, as we prefer to hire Guatemalans rather than import free labor.
Have A Direct Experience With Your Donation
Hug It Forward offers one-week voluntourism trips in collaboration with our partner organization Serve The World Today. These trips allow donors to see exactly where their donation is going while working side-by-side with community members in the building of new bottle classrooms’.
Serve The World Today voluntourism trips give participants the opportunity to give back while traveling and experience a vacation where you can make a real difference in the lives of hundreds of people, as well as your own.
It is a vacation that is about serving, connecting and participating in a truly unique, life-changing experience.
