Caquixajay (phase II)

Caquixajay (phase II)

Approximately 11 miles from the municipality of Tecpan is the village of Caquixajay. The community is requesting a 3 classroom bottle school to educate the Middle School students. Currently, there is no Middle School in the community and they have 65 kids enrolled in Middle School, meaning students are currently using the Elementary School for their classes and do not have a space of their own. The construction of the 3 classrooms will give the students their own space, as well as support the nearby communities of Potrerillos, Pachali and Xejavi with a Middle School that they can also use. Once completed, each classroom will have an average of 20-25 students.
