Tierra Colorada

Tierra Colorada gets it’s name from the red soil found in the area. The project (middle school) will benefit 60 students, 3 staff members and 174 families in the area. The middle school was founded 12 years ago but they don’t have their own classrooms and they are forced to use the elementary school facilities. The government requires that all middle schools are independent from the elementary school, yet the government hasn’t provided the resources for this. The 3 classrooms currently under construction is the first stage of this project. Tierra Colorada will be the biggest bottle school we have built when it’s finished in December 2016.
