Some of the amazing things our wonderful supporters are doing

Thank you all for being part of the movement!

Alisa

Combining a passion for art and giving, Art for Impact hosted an event of music, dance and theatre, with booths promoting recycling. Hug It Forward's booth had supporters giving Free Hugs and passing out hug bucks that were all handmade and using recycled/re-used materials.

Cathy

Cathy is a Yoga instructor who has dedicated 12 hours of giving Free Hugs to raise awareness, spread love, and earn funds for bottle schools. She pledged to give hugs to everyone she encounters during the week and to give them a hug buck printed from her Hug It Forward profile, to encourage others to hug it forward.

Jen

Jen Yost, author of a new book: Bring On The Joy has included Hug It Forward in the book’s content! Speaking about the power of hugs, Yost encourages others not only to give hugs often, but to track them online to help raise money for bottle schools! Wow!!!!

J T Liss

This young photographer contacted Hug It Forward with a wonderful idea to contribute to bottle schools! He has started a “Photography for Social Change” campaign, donating proceeds from the sale of his photos to non-profits. Using his craft to help give back, this artist really understands the power of conscious business!

La Costa Canyon

For Earth Day 2011, a group of environmentally conscious high school students set out to raise awareness of environmental issues. They planned an Earth Fair event on their campus to invite the student body to come explore and learn about business and organizations that are making a difference for the environment.

Liverpool High School

9th graders at Liverpool, New York High School sold food at the NYS regional National History Day competition to help build a bottle school in Guatemala. From doughnuts in the morning to pizza in the afternoon, the students mingled amongst several school districts that came together for this competition.

Markie

Markie, a first year student at ASU, organized a group of her friends and created a Hug It Forward club through the school, promoted the event, and went out for three consecutive days with her team to hug as many of their schoolmates as possible.
