We love hugs. We love giving hugs, we love receiving hugs - we just love hugs!

With the hug-tracking technology on this web site, you can now see what happens when you hug ten people and those ten people Hug It Forward. With the speed of modern travel, the hug you give someone on your street could soon end up in another city, another state or even another country!

Not only that, but for each hug you give, Hug It Forward's sponsors will donate $1 to fund Bottle Schools.


How do I take part?

Follow these instructions! It’s EASY :)

I got hugged. How do I register my hug?

The video on the right explains how to track your hugs!

  1. Go to our home page hugitforward.com and look at the orange "Track Your Hug?" box on the left of the screen.
  2. Look at the card you received when you were hugged and enter the name of the person who hugged you.
  3. Now, enter the zip code (USA only) or address where you were hugged and Click OK.
  4. On the next page, make up a username and password and enter your email address.
  5. If you want, enter a short comment about the hug.
  6. Click Continue

It’s as easy as that! You can see where your hug came from, and click around to follow its journey.

How do I track my hugs?

  1. Click the “Sign in” link in the top right hand corner.
  2. Enter your username and password and click OK.
  3. Upload your favorite picture to make your hugging profile more fun!
  4. Now you can see all the hugs you have shared on a map!
  5. You can comment on hugs, or click on the map to see how hugs have traveled.

Now you can click the PRINT HUG BUCKS button and go and Hug It Forward!

Pass out these Hug Bucks when giving hugs so people can register the hug later.  Let them know that this Hug Buck is a real dollar for Bottle Schools when registered on HugItForward.com!!!

Track Hugs using your Smartphone!


Now with the new bar code- laser technology on your smart phone, you can scan the barcode on the Hug Buck to take you directly to your personal Hug Tracking page (using either RED LASER on iPhone or QUICKMARK on Android). This allows people to easily register YOUR hug when you hand them a Hug Buck!!!!!!

I didn’t get hugged. How do I take part?
