For our beloved leader Kim Namjoon’s birthday, we are focusing on making a cleaner planet while providing the means of education for children in underserved communities in the heart of Guatemala! Our Namjoonie is a lover of the beauty of nature on our planet, and we know that a clean, natural environment is where he is most at ease, and can feel like himself. Namjoon is also a highly intellectual person who knows the value of literature, information, and education being available to all people.
Hug It Forward gets the community involved in restoring a clean environment by permanently removing non-biodegradable trash and building eco-bricks out of it, which are then used to build schools in communities that were in need of them. Not only does this give the children an opportunity to get an education, but the community as a whole also gets educated in the proper care and responsibility for the environment around them.
ARMYs, we all want to honor our Namjoon and respect our earth! It’s our responsibility to make this a beautiful, healthy, thriving planet where Namjoon and all of us can be our best selves! We want to encourage responsibility for its care, and to make sure the next generation grows up educated, empowered, and knowing how to be environmentally conscious!
